cane-creek-eewings-gravel-road-titanium-cranks-8-bolt
Cane Creek eeWings Gravel/Road Titanium Cranks (8-Bolt)

The Cane Creek eeWings Gravel/Road Titanium Cranks are virtually indestructible and built to outlast anything you bolt them to, from a lightweight gravel race machine to a loaded adventure rig or a fast road bike. They are as light as carbon cranks but offer significantly more durability and impact resistance, along with industry-leading power transfer. When other cranks separate, bend, break, or simply fade, eeWings are Ageless.

The second generation eeWings now use the SRAM 8-bolt direct mount chainring interface, opening up compatibility with modern 12 and 13 speed drivetrains and 8-bolt power meters. Using Cane Creek Chainring Spiders, they are also compatible with Shimano GRX, Dura-Ace 9200, and Ultegra 8100 chainrings. An oversized, ultra-friendly 8mm stainless steel fixing bolt and increased ground clearance round out the update, and every set is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

________
Nothing Is Stiffer, Lighter, and Stronger:

At just 398g (165mm), eeWings Gravel are lighter than most carbon cranks while offering far more strength and reliability. They have been independently tested and confirmed to have one of the highest stiffness-to-weight ratios of any crank in the world. In a 2023 test by Fair Wheel Bikes, eeWings were found to be the stiffest of 15 manufacturers tested, with the lowest average deflection. That stiffness means more of your pedaling power goes straight to the rear wheel, making your bike more efficient and responsive.

________
Hirth Joint and CNC Preloader:

The Hirth joint is compact and lightweight, minimizing overlapping and redundant material while maintaining incredible torsional rigidity with very few parts. Precision machined from 6/4 titanium and secured with a single oversized stainless steel fixing bolt, it delivers the most direct power transfer possible. eeWings also include a fully machined 7075 aluminum preloader with a titanium pinch bolt for precisely setting bottom bracket bearing preload and ensuring a perfect fit with your frame.

________
Features:

100% titanium construction: the highest strength-to-weight material on Earth

Hand-welded arms that cannot come unbonded or delaminate

Refinishable brushed finish: renew by hand with a Scotch-Brite pad

SRAM 8-bolt direct mount chainring interface, compatible with 8-bolt spiders and power meters

Compatible with Shimano GRX, Dura-Ace 9200, and Ultegra 8100 chainrings using Cane Creek Chainring Spiders

Compatible with SRAM DUB WIDE chainlines (with a 3mm offset chainring)

Stainless steel 8mm crank fixing bolt and chainring bolts

CNC machined 7075 aluminum preloader with titanium pinch bolt included

No pedal washers required

Limited lifetime warranty

________
Specifications:

MATERIALS

Butted 3/2.5 titanium arms with CNC 6/4 titanium spindle and Hirth joint

CRANK LENGTH

165mm, 170mm, 172.5mm

Q FACTOR

160mm

SPINDLE

30mm

MAX USABLE SPINDLE WIDTH

92.5mm

CHAINRING INTERFACE

SRAM 8-Bolt Direct Mount

HARDWARE

Stainless steel 8mm crank fixing bolt and chainring bolts

PRELOAD ADJUSTMENT

Cane Creek CNC machined 7075-T6 aluminum preloader

WEIGHT

398g (165mm)

WARRANTY

Lifetime

________
Compatibility:

Fits any modern road bike bottom bracket standard using a 30mm spindle bottom bracket

Works with 68mm threaded (BSA and T47 external), 86.5mm threaded (T47 internal), 68mm press-fit (BB30 and PF30), and 86.5mm press-fit (PF41) using the appropriate Cane Creek 30mm bottom bracket

Chainring and bottom bracket sold separately

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0400/3207/5934/files/CaneCreek-eeWingsTitanumCranks_GravelRoad_be25abd1-4334-46ee-a41c-a9c4e338d5f6.jpg?v=1790875571
