Our thoughts:
This is a great choice to upgrade your bike to the latest Shimano 12-speed freehub body, if you have a frame that doesn't accept thru axles.
Talk to your LBS about lacing a rim for you, and keep in mind this is a CENTER LOCK hub, so if you have 6-bolt rotors, they won't be compatible.
Check out the XT hub if you need a MICRO SPLINE, THRU axle hub (Boost-148mm or 142mm) for your 12 speed Shimano drivetrain.
