The Maxxis Minion DHR II borrows its side knobs from the Minion DHF, then widens them for extra support, giving it outstanding cornering grip. Ramped center knobs help it accelerate, siping smooths the transition as you lean the bike over, and paddle-like center knobs bite hard under braking. These DHR II models use the new generation MaxxTerra compound, an all-new rubber formula that Maxxis says delivers 30% more durability and 15% more traction with no loss in rolling efficiency. Available in EXO, EXO+, DoubleDown and Downhill casings for 27.5" and 29" wheels.

________
Our thoughts:
The DHR II is the go-to rear tire for a huge number of riders, and for good reason: it corners predictably and brakes like few other tires. The new generation MaxxTerra compound makes it even better value, with more grip and more life out of every tire. With EXO through to Downhill casings on offer, there is a version here for everything from trail bikes to the bike park.
