We Are One is located in British Columbia, Canada; Berd is located in Hopkins, Minnesota; and the wheels are build using hubs made by Industry Nine from Asheville, North Carolina!
Ideal for cross country and trail racing and riding, the new Berd HAWK27 wheels combine lightweight and vibration damping Berd spokes with We Are One 27 mm internal carbon rims and Industry Nine Hydra hubs.
Low profile rim offers industry leading radial compliance. Wide 3.75 mm rim lip prevents tire damage by spreading out force from tire impacts

Berd spokes are made from an advanced polymer called ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) that has 12 times the strength-to-weight ratio of steel and floats on water. Berd spokes have an improved fatigue life compared to steel and are impervious to the elements.
