The Spank Spike 800 Race Bar is a World Cup quality alloy handlebar developed with input from some of the world's top downhill and enduro pros, and the bar of choice for Nicholi Rogatkin. Competition ready and park approved, it combines SPANK's CNC bending and Extreme Gradual Taper (XGT) technologies to deliver a lighter, thinner-walled bar that is still stronger and stiffer than conventional alloy handlebars. At 800mm wide and cuttable down to 740mm, it lets you dial in the exact cockpit width for your bike, your body, and your riding.
________
XGT and CNC Bending:
SPANK's Extreme Gradual Taper (XGT) technology varies the wall thickness along the length of the bar, putting material only where it is needed for strength. Combined with precise CNC bending, the result is a thinner, lighter wall with increased strength and stiffness compared to conventional alloy bars. The bar is then shot-peened and anodized, a process that further enhances fatigue life so it holds up to seasons of hard riding.
________
Built for Gravity:
Rated to ASTM 5, the SPIKE 800 Race Bar is strong enough for downhill, enduro, all mountain, and trail riding. A 4 degree upsweep and 8 degree backsweep provide a natural, neutral hand position, and a choice of 15mm or 30mm rise lets you fine tune front end height to suit your frame and riding style.
